The Sunnah

Sunnah means "the way of the Prophet" and are the religious acts which the Prophet Muhammad performed and taught his Sahaba (companions).

Hadith and sunnah are not the same. Hadith is a report or account of what the Messenger of Allah said whereas sunnah is the Prophet Muhammad's way of life.
